It just so happens that I have a week of Vacation starting Thursday and have not yet made plans. I might look into this.
What kind of stuff do they usually look at in safety inspections?
How rough are the roads, and how tough on the car would it be? I ask because this would be my DD and I have absolutely bupkis for front ground clearance.

It's on private land. The ground will probably be dirt and gravel, but it also might snow... Safety is just like making sure the helmet is good, wheels are on, bearings aren't bad, no leaking fluids, stupid stuff etc. Apparently they check to make sure your e-brake works. Idk, I haven't done a rallyx before but brian has, might have to ask him.
What is your DD?

The material we're racing on this weekend is a gravel parking lot as far as I know, so it won't be very rough on the cars. Though it might snow, so that'll be even better. As long as your car is in good working order, and nothing is falling off/loose, you should be fine. Battery has to be secured if it isn't already. Helmets are available to use for free if you don't have your own.

So a squealing strut bushing would be ok to race with?

Uh yeah probably. Aaron's car has a shitload of problems and a quarter-million miles but as long as he gets it to function properly by the end of the week he should be fine. You should have no problem passing inspection if that's the cars only problem.
